Manager CSR & Sustainability

About The Position

The Sr Manager CSR Sustainability will play a key role in engaging with CSR leaders, sustainability heads, and philanthropic organizations to conceptualize new CSR and sustainability programs

This role sits at the intersection of partnership development, program design, and implementation planning, requiring strong understanding of the CSR ecosystem in India and the ability to translate partner priorities into structured, implementable development programs

Responsibilities

Client Partnership Engagement

Engage with CSR heads, sustainability leaders, and philanthropic organizations to understand priorities and partnership opportunities

Support relationship development and strategic engagement with corporate partners

Identify opportunities for new CSR and sustainability collaborations

Program Conceptualization

Conceptualize CSR and sustainability programs across sectors such as Climate and sustainability

Healthcare

Develop Concept notes

Program frameworks

Partnership models

Implementation approaches

Align programs with Schedule VII of the Companies Act, ESG priorities, and SDGs

Proposal Development

Lead development of CSR proposals, presentations, and partnership documents

Support budgeting, program structuring, and outcome frameworks

Work with internal teams to translate concepts into implementation-ready program designs

Strategic Coordination

Coordinate with program teams, research teams, and implementation partners

Support documentation and knowledge development related to CSR and sustainability programs

Mandatory Qualification And Experience

Masters degree in Development Studies

Sustainability

Public Policy

Rural Management

Social Work

Business AdministrationOr related disciplines

Experience Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in Non-profit program development

CSR consulting

Sustainability advisory

Impact program design

Experience engaging with corporate CSR teams or foundations is essential

Strong understanding of the CSR ecosystem in India is required
