Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Manager Analytics Delivery to spearhead data, analytics, and AI initiatives across key business functions at Crompton. The core of this role lies in strong business engagement and stakeholder managementacting as the strategic bridge between business leaders and technical execution. You will be responsible for understanding complex business challenges, shaping the analytics and AI roadmap, and ensuring successful delivery of high-impact data and AI products that drive measurable business outcomes.
Role & responsibilities:1. Business Engagement & Stakeholder Management
- Proactively engage with leaders to deeply understand their strategic priorities, operational challenges, and decision-making needs.
- Translate ambiguous business problems into clearly defined analytics and AI use cases with quantifiable value propositions.
- Champion a data-driven and AI-first culture by evangelizing the use of analytics and AI, conducting storytelling sessions, and showcasing wins to drive adoption.
- Establish robust governance forums (steering committees, working groups, reviews) to keep stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Continuously measure user adoption and business impact post-deployment, taking accountability for ROI realization.
2. Analytics & AI Delivery Management
- Take end-to-end ownership of the analytics and AI product lifecycle from ideation and requirements gathering to development, testing, deployment, and post go-live support.
- Identify, prioritize, and deliver AI/ML use cases such as forecasting, predictive analytics, recommendation engines, anomaly detection, and Generative AI based solutions that solve real business problems.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends in AI, Generative AI, and Agentic AI; evaluate and pilot new technologies that can create competitive advantage for Crompton.
- Develop robust project plans, manage delivery timelines, and ensure high-quality outputs using agile methodologies.
- Collaborate closely with the Data Platform & Architecture team to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise data and AI governance standards.
3. Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Data, BI, and AI/ML practitioners to foster a high-performance delivery capability.
- Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and build technical and functional capabilities within the team across analytics, BI, and AI/ML disciplines.
4. Technical Oversight
- Provide architectural and functional guidance leveraging Crompton's modern analytics and AI tech stack: Microsoft Fabric, Power BI and Azure AI/ML services.
- Ensure that BI dashboards, data models, and AI/ML solutions are built efficiently, are production-grade, and optimized for performance, scalability, and cost.
Preferred candidate profile:
- 8+ years of total experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, and AI/ML delivery, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or delivery management role.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering AI/ML solutions in production covering classical ML, predictive modelling, and ideally Generative AI use cases.
- Prior experience delivering enterprise analytics and AI solutions in FMCG, Consumer Durables, or Manufacturing sectors is preferred.
- Solid foundational knowledge of modern data and AI stacks. Hands-on experience or deep architectural understanding of Microsoft Fabric is highly preferred.
