Job Description
Manager / Senior Manager Portfolio Management (Emerging Markets)
Location: Vadodara, India
Position Purpose
Responsible for driving portfolio strategy, product selection, lifecycle management, forecasting, and commercialization planning across Emerging Markets to support sustainable and profitable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute portfolio strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Identify and prioritize new product opportunities through market, competition, and profitability assessment.
- Conduct portfolio gap analysis and recommend portfolio enhancement opportunities.
- Drive lifecycle management initiatives including line extensions, new strengths, dosage forms, and market expansion.
- Analyze IQVIA/IMS and market intelligence data to support portfolio decisions.
- Build business cases, revenue forecasts, and portfolio performance dashboards.
- Track competitor activities, market trends, patent expiries, and regulatory developments.
- Support launch planning and monitor post-launch performance.
- Partner with R&D, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance, and Commercial teams for portfolio execution.
Qualifications & Experience
- B.Pharm/M.Pharm/Life Sciences; MBA preferred.
- 8-15 years of experience in Portfolio Management, Product Management, or Commercial Excellence within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience in Emerging Markets, branded generics, injectables, or specialty products preferred.
