Job Responsibilities
1. Maintece Management
Lead preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintece of press machines (mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical systems).
Ensure minimum downtime and quick restoration during failures.
Develop and implement maintece SOPs and checklists.
2. Equipment Reliability & Improvement
Analyse breakdown data and implement root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions.
Drive continuous improvement (Kaizen) to enhance machine reliability.
Improve MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) and reduce MTTR.
3. Digitalization & Smart Maintece
Implement IoT-based monitoring systems for press parameters (tonnage, vibration, lubrication, temperature).
Use data analytics for predictive maintece.
Integrate maintece systems with MES / SAP PM modules.
4. Team Management
Lead and develop a team of maintece engineers, supervisors, and technicians.
Plan training programs for new technologies and safety.
Ensure proper manpower planning and shift management.
5. Spare Parts & Cost Control
Manage critical spare parts inventory.
Optimize maintece cost without compromising reliability.
Coordinate with vendors for AMC and technical support.
6. Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with safety standards and statutory requirements.
Conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions.
Promote zero-accident culture in the press shop.
7. New Equipment & Projects
Support installation and commissioning of new press lines.
Participate in equipment selection, FAT/SAT, and trials.
Develop maintece strategy for new technology.

Functional/Technical:
Deep knowledge of press shop equipment and layout.
Hands-on experience with Tandem Press, blanking line, EOT crane, scrap conveyor etc.
Proficiency in breakdown analysis and digital maintece systems (SAP PM, Infor, etc.).
Strong knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, Mitsubishi PLCs, Servo drives,VFD Friction drives system, Conveyors
Familiarity with Digitalization, Predictive Maintece techniques, 5S, and Lean Maintece
Experience with robots (Yaskawa, etc.) and vision systems is a plus
Good communication and shift coordination ability
