Mainframe Developer

Role & responsibilities

• Strong hands-on experience in:
• COBOL
• JCL
• DB2
• VSAM
• CICS
• Extensive experience in mainframe application development and support.
• Expertise in maintaining applications in the MVS mainframe environment.
• Strong capability in analyzing and troubleshooting complex mainframe programs.
• Experience in production support, root cause analysis, and defect resolution.
• Ability to perform unit testing and ensure quality deliverables.

Functional Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and design optimal end-to-end solutions.
• Develop and enhance existing mainframe applications.
• Investigate and resolve production issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions.
• Participate in Agile development processes and ceremonies.
• Support mission-critical applications related to stock plan services and equity compensation.

Experience Required

• 6-9 years of hands-on experience in Mainframe Application Development and Support.
• Proven experience working in Agile development environments.
• Strong background in production support, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise mainframe systems.
