Mainframe Developer (Banking Domain)
About the team
Our team develops the core lending product for Auto Finance industry. We serve clients from various geographies and is responsible for every functional/business aspect of a lending / leasing portfolio.
What you will be doing
- Contributes to the design of complex applications, considering various intricacies to create advanced application structures that align with project requirements.
- Examines software configurations to ensure the accurate setup, functionality, and ongoing maintenance of intricate software programs.
- Analyzes complex and multifaceted user requirements for software solutions, discerning intricate user needs to inform the development and design of software applications.
- Applies practical technical knowledge to execute complex development tasks in order to optimize software engineering processes.
What you bring:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, CICS in Mainframe application development with good grasp in mainframe tools
- Must have good knowledge on Banking/ Lending Domain
- Systematics ALS experience would be an added advantage.
- On-call production support experience would be an added advantage, but not essential to the role.
- Agile Scrum experience would be an added advantage.
- Experienced with all major development and delivery phases and activities.
- Has participated in the full spectrum of delivery activities on multiple development projects.
- Ability to explore new age technology improvement/ automation is desirable.
