Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Adobe Commerce UI Developer with 57 years of expertise in building scalable, accessible, and responsive eCommerce storefronts using Magento 2 (Adobe Commerce). The role involves delivering high-performance UI experiences aligned with modern web standards, accessibility guidelines, and responsive design principles.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive UI components for Adobe Commerce (Magento 2) storefronts
- Build custom themes, templates, and layouts using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHTML
- Ensure fully responsive UI design across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
- Implement and maintain WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards (a11y) across storefront pages
- Work with ARIA roles, semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, and screen reader compatibility
- Develop Magento UI components using Knockout.js, RequireJS, LESS/SASS
- Customize Magento checkout, cart, and product detail pages
- Collaborate with backend teams for REST/GraphQL API integration
- Optimize frontend performance, Core Web Vitals, and rendering efficiency
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing for UI consistency
- Debug and resolve UI/UX issues across environments (Dev, QA, Production)
- Work with Magento theming architecture (Luma, Hyv, or PWA Studio if applicable)
- Participate in code reviews and enforce UI coding standards, accessibility checks, and responsive design guidelines
Required Skills & Experience
- 5–7 years of frontend/UI development experience
- Strong expertise in Adobe Commerce (Magento 2) frontend development
- Advanced knowledge of:
- HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)
- Responsive design principles (mobile-first approach)
- Magento theme development and layout XML
- Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 / Section 508 compliance)
- Hands-on experience with:
- ARIA attributes and semantic HTML
- Keyboard navigation and focus management
- Experience with RequireJS, Knockout.js, LESS/SASS
- API integration using REST and GraphQL
- Strong debugging, browser compatibility, and performance optimization skills
- Experience with Git and Agile development practices
