Role & responsibilities

Develop and execute procurement strategies for mustard seeds, packaging materials, and other production inputs.
Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best quality, pricing, and delivery terms.
Ensure uninterrupted availability of raw materials for continuous production.
Plan and monitor inventory levels to prevent stock shortages and overstocking.
Coordinate with production, quality, warehouse, and sales teams for smooth operations.
Manage inbound and outbound logistics, including transportation and dispatch planning.
Monitor warehouse operations and ensure proper storage of raw materials and finished goods.
Optimize logistics costs while maintaining delivery timelines.
Track supplier performance and maintain long-term vendor relationships.
Ensure compliance with FSSAI, statutory requirements, and company procurement policies.
Prepare procurement budgets, purchase orders, inventory reports, and logistics performance reports.
Implement ERP/MIS systems for procurement and inventory management.
Lead and mentor the procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams.
