Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Review and analyze loan applications to determine creditworthiness of borrowers.
- Conduct thorough research on applicants' financial history, credit reports, and other relevant factors to inform lending decisions.
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies for growth.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity to maintain expertise in US mortgage underwriting.
Job Requirements :
- 3-11 years of experience in US residential mortgage Live underwriting.
- Strong understanding of US mortgage products (e.g., FHA, VA, Jumbo loans) and underwriting guidelines.
- Proficiency in Loan Origination Systems (LOS) such as Encompass or similar platforms.
