Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Review and analyze loan applications to determine creditworthiness of borrowers.
- Conduct thorough research on applicants' financial history, credit reports, and other relevant factors.
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify potential clients and develop strategies for acquiring new business opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and changes in US mortgage underwriting guidelines.
Job Requirements :
- 2-11 years of experience in US residential mortgage underwriting or related field.
- Strong understanding of US mortgage products (FHA, VA, USDA) as well as conventional loans.
- Proficiency in Loan Origination Systems (LOS) such as Encompass or similar platforms.
