Lionbridge - Software Engineer - .Net (8-13 yrs)

Description : Lionbridge is hiring for Software Engineer | Contractual | Project Specific Night Shift Applicable.

Role : Senior or Software Engineer (SSE) AIT Support Team

Employment Type : Contractual

Shift Timing : IST Night Shift (8 : 30 PM 5 : 30 AM) to support US teams/users during EST hours.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and deliver process automation solutions using C# and .NET Core.

- Integrate systems through REST APIs and support API-driven workflows.

- Develop and maintain Python and Bash utilities for validating, transforming, and processing CSV/TSV/JSON datasets supporting AI and localization workflows.

- Automate ingestion, QA, annotation, and export processes for AI platform data pipelines.

- Analyze and design scalable solutions following clean code principles and cloud-based architecture standards.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for requirement gathering and project execution.

- Estimate development efforts and ensure timely delivery throughout the project lifecycle.

- Deploy and maintain solutions in Azure/AWS cloud environments.

- Own end-to-end delivery including estimation, documentation, quality assurance, and training support.

- Suggest and drive improvements in development processes and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 8+ years of experience in software development and engineering practices.

- Strong hands-on experience in C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, MS SQL Server, and T-SQL.

- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.

- Good understanding of Entity Framework, Web API, Azure services, and Object-Oriented Design principles.

- Knowledge of software architecture and design patterns.

- Ability to prepare technical specifications and development documentation.

- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to manage priorities and work within deadlines.

- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Preferred / Good to Have :

- Experience with ASP.NET MVC5 / ASP.NET Core.

- Exposure to NoSQL databases such as CosmosDB and MongoDB.

- Knowledge of Hangfire and BPM/Workflow-based environments.

- Experience in XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and Bootstrap.
