Linux Engineer 4+ Years Navi Mumbai

Experienced Linux Engineer with expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Linux Administration, Shell Scripting, Pacemaker Cluster, and Ansible? We are looking for a skilled professional to manage and support enterprise Linux environments, ensuring high availability, security, and optimal system performance..

Location: Navi Mumbai

Your Future Employer: A leading IT services organization delivering enterprise infrastructure, cloud, and managed services. The organization provides an opportunity to work on mission-critical production environments, cutting-edge infrastructure technologies, and large-scale enterprise systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide Level 2 support for RHEL production environments.
2. Install, configure, administer, and maintain RHEL 8/9 servers.
3. Monitor system performance, availability, and troubleshoot Linux server issues.
4. Perform OS patching, upgrades, security hardening, and system maintenance.
5. Manage LVM, file systems, disk partitions, users, groups, and permissions.
6. Configure and troubleshoot Linux networking, including DNS, SSH, NFS, FTP, and firewall services.

Requirements:

1. 4+years of experience in Linux Administration.
2. Strong hands-on expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 8/9).
3. Experience with LVM, file systems, disk management, and Linux performance tuning.
4. Strong knowledge of Linux networking, including IP, DNS, routing, and firewall configuration.
5. Hands-on experience with YUM/DNF patch management and Linux security hardening.
6. Good knowledge of SELinux, Bash Shell scripting, and automation.
