Who We Need
Linux Admin.
Roles and Responsibility
- Manage, operate, and maintain Linux & Unix servers and infrastructure.
- Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of systems and infrastructure.
- Provide data center and end-user support for infrastructure services.
- Monitor installed systems and proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Troubleshoot Linux/Unix environments, storage, networking, and hardware-related issues.
- Perform server provisioning, configuration, patching, firmware upgrades, and security hardening.
- Manage storage platforms, filesystems, and clustering solutions.
- Support virtualization platforms such as VMware, Oracle VM, and KVM.
- Participate in project planning, technical design, implementation, testing, and production rollouts.
- Assist in Proof of Concepts (POCs), technology evaluations, and adoption of new technologies.
- Ensure compliance with security, audit, risk, and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve infrastructure and network issues.
- Prepare and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation.
- Mentor team members and contribute to knowledge sharing initiatives.
Requirements
- Operating Systems & Administration
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux (Red Hat, CentOS) and Unix administration.
- Experience in Linux installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Server security hardening and system administration.
- Storage & Clustering
- Linux Cluster Infrastructure (Veritas Cluster, Red Hat Cluster Suite).
- Storage platforms and filesystems (NFS, DFS, SMB).
- Multipath and PowerPath management.
- FTP, Samba, and NFS configuration and troubleshooting.
