JD for Linux Admin. Key Responsibilities
- System Administration : Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, SUSE).
- Performance Monitoring : Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations.
- Security Management : Apply security patches, configure firewalls, and enforce system hardening practices.
- Automation & Scripting : Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Python, or Perl.
- Backup & Recovery : Implement and manage backup solutions; perform disaster recovery operations.
- Cloud Integration : Manage Linux systems on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Collaboration : Work closely with development and IT teams to support infrastructure needs.
- Documentation : Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations and procedures.
