Line Leader - Production

Job Summary

The Line Leader Production is responsible for managing day-to-day production activities, ensuring daily production targets are achieved while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards. The role involves leading production operators, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement in an EMS manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise production operators on the assigned SMT/FATP/Assembly line.
• Ensure achievement of daily production targets, productivity, and on-time delivery.
• Monitor manpower allocation, line balancing, and machine utilization.
• Ensure adherence to production plans, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Coordinate with Quality, Process Engineering, Maintenance, and Stores for smooth line operations.
• Monitor production KPIs including Output, OEE, UPH, FPY, Downtime, and Rejection.
• Conduct shift handovers and daily production meetings.
• Ensure compliance with 5S, ESD, Safety, and company policies.
• Identify production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain production records, shift reports, and manpower attendance.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Production Engineering.
• 2 to 7 years in EMS/Electronics Manufacturing with at least 2 years of experience in leading a production line.
