Licensed Aircraft Engineer (B1/B2)

ALG is currently hiring experienced Licensed Aircraft Engineers (B1 and/or B2) across Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore for our client, a leading international airline, to support aircraft maintenance and certification activities. This role is an exciting long-term contract position with us.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform and certify aircraft maintenance tasks within the scope of the applicable licence and authorisations.
• Carry out aircraft inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, modifications and functional testing.
• Perform maintenance activities in accordance with approved maintenance procedures, technical documentation and applicable aviation regulations.
• Complete aircraft maintenance records and technical documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot and rectify aircraft defects in accordance with approved maintenance procedures.
• Work closely with maintenance, engineering and operational teams to support the safe and efficient completion of maintenance activities.
• Ensure all maintenance activities meet required safety, quality and regulatory standards.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and customers on maintenance-related matters.

Job Requirements

• Hold a valid Aircraft Maintenance Licence (AML) or equivalent licence issued by DGCA.
• Possess at least two aircraft type ratings.
• Relevant type-rated experience on widebody aircraft is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant aircraft maintenance and certification experience.
• Demonstrated experience in aircraft inspection, troubleshooting, repair, modification and certification activities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based and operational environment.
