JOB DESCRIPTION LIAISONING OFFICER

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Liaisoning Officer to manage coordination with government departments, local authorities, statutory bodies, and other external agencies to ensure smooth project operations and timely approvals.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with government departments and local authorities for project-related approvals and permissions.
• Handle liaisoning with Municipal Corporation, Revenue, Electricity, Water, Pollution Control, Labour, and other relevant departments.
• Follow up on licenses, NOCs, permits, registrations, and statutory approvals.
• Maintain proper records of applications, approvals, renewals, and official correspondence.
• Coordinate with project and management teams regarding government requirements.
• Visit government offices and authorities regularly for submission and follow-up of documents.
• Resolve official queries and ensure timely completion of statutory requirements.
• Maintain good professional relationships with government officials and external agencies.
• Ensure compliance with applicable government rules and regulations.
• Prepare regular status reports on pending and completed approvals.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of government procedures and statutory approvals.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Good knowledge of documentation and follow-up procedures.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple departments.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and email communication.
• Strong local knowledge and networking with government authorities will be an advantage.

Qualification

Graduate in any discipline. Candidates with experience in Civil/Construction/Infrastructure projects will be preferred.
