Liaison Architect (Bldg Proposal)

Role & responsibilities :

Liaisoning

• Adept at handling liaison of multiple projects.
• Responsible to liaison with the Building proposals dept. / MMRDA / MOEF / MHADA / BMC/ CFO / municipal approvals / statutory sanctions / Licenses/ Mantralaya, Architects/Clients etc.
• Responsible to liaison with revenue depts. /land approval depts. / water and electricity depts. Courts.
• Responsible to liaison for various statutory approvals for residential constructions, SRA rehabilitation, etc.
• Act as Company's interface in dealing with key level officials of relevant statutory authorities

Regulatory Approval

• Responsible for obtaining all statutory permissions for Company's projects in & around Mumbai.
• Experienced in handling mix use development proposals under different FSI schemes of Development Control Regulation.
• Ensure strategizing of regulatory approval process & minimizing delays

Compliances

• Proficient in devising a tool or robust system of keeping a track on all compliances to achieve the desired approval timelines.

Coordination

• To coordinate between Design & Liaison Architects, various Consultants & JV Partner.
• Provide technical inputs pertaining to liaison to company's Legal Dept. for drafting all Legal / Development Agreements & also for the relevant Undertakings / Indemnity Bonds required to be furnished to Statutory Authorities.
• Co-ordinate with Liaison Architects
• Co-ordination and liaison with Govt. offices related to the projects for approval and clearance

Dispute Resolution

• Ability to manage dispute process & handle the crisis /issues as regards to statutory approvals.

Preferred candidate profile

• B Arch with 10-15 years exp in MHADA
• Knowledge of MCGM's DCR on issuing various permissions by MCGM.
• Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
• Knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, building construction, building systems and site requirements.
