Legal Specialist

Lactalis India is looking for Legal Specialist to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey.Provide legal advice, guidance, and support to internal stakeholders on a wide range of legal matters. Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents. Identify legal risks and potential liabilities and develop strategies to mitigate them. Represent the company in legal proceedings, if required, and liaise with external legal counsel. Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations that may impact the company's operations. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance. Requirements : Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; bar admission is required. Proven experience as a Legal Expert, Attorney, or in a similar legal role. Strong understanding of corporate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams. High ethical standards and professionalism. Preferred Qualifications (Not Mandatory) : Specialization or experience in specific legal areas relevant to the company's industry (e. g. , intellectual property, employment law, etc. ).
