F5 Legal is seeking a data-driven, highly motivated Legal Operations Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting contract lifecycle management (CLM) and providing technical and functional legal operations support for our attorney group.
You will serve as the front-line system administrator, supporting the optimization and scaling of CLM processes to advance the department's technology roadmap. You will work with the Sr. Manager, Legal Operations to optimize the CLM system to enable efficient, scalable, and compliant workflows, while advancing automation, technology, and AI initiatives. You will also collaborate with Legal, IT, and business teams to evaluate tools, support implementations, and enhance user experience across the organization.
This role is responsible for developing data analytics capabilities and designing reports and dashboards across all legal systems. You will enable KPI tracking through reliable data and visualized dashboards, proactively identifying and addressing data quality issues to ensure meaningful and actionable insights. In partnership with the Digital IT team, you will leverage data from legal applications and other business systems to increase visibility and enable data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of legal operations best practices, and a passion for process improvement and technology. Primary Responsibilities:
- CLM Administration and Support: Serve as a day-to-day support resource for CLM tools and processes, including contract intake, workflow routing, templates, clause libraries, user access, reporting, and contract data quality. Monitor contract milestones, support timely assignments, approvals, and signatures, and help resolve user issues or process gaps.
- Analytics Reporting:Leverage data across systems to build dashboards and reports on legal metrics, supporting KPIs, and technology adoption metrics to maintain data for leadership review.
- AI Technology Initiatives:Help pilot, implement, and optimize AI and automation tools to streamline legal workflows and enhance productivity. Evaluate new technologies, perform user acceptance testing, and help drive adoption across the department.
- Technical Readiness and Systems Ownership: Bring a strong systems mindset and the ability to quickly understand legal technology architecture, data flows, integrations, permissions, and workflow dependencies. Partner with Digital/IT teams to translate business needs into scalable technical requirements, support configuration decisions, troubleshoot issues, and help ensure new tools and enhancements are ready for reliable adoption.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline contract and legal operations workflows, reduce manual effort, improve data capture, and strengthen process consistency. Document current-state and future-state processes, recommend practical improvements, and help implement scalable best practices.
- Project and Cross-Functional Support: Support legal operations projects from planning through rollout and adoption. Coordinate with Legal, Digital/IT, Finance, Procurement, vendors, and business stakeholders to support implementations, integrations, enhancements, and change management activities.
- General Legal Ops Support:Support day-to-day core Legal Operations functional areas as needed, including but not limited to: Financial Management, Vendor and Outside Counsel Management, Innovation, Technology and Tool Management, Knowledge Management, Communications, and Practice Operations.
- Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Working knowledge of CLM systems, workflow and automation systems (e.g. Icertis, Ironclad, IVO, DocuSign, ServiceNow, Salesforce.) Examples of relevant technical skills include understanding system configuration, role-based access controls, workflow logic, data mapping, integrations, APIs, testing/UAT, reporting requirements, dashboard design, issue triage, and basic troubleshooting across enterprise applications.
- Experience leveraging data analytics to build dashboards and reports to measure performance, inform resource planning, and enable data-driven strategic decision making.
- Experience supporting AI, automation, or data-driven transformation initiatives within a legal department such as tool evaluation and user acceptance testing. Familiarity with data integration, automation, or workflow tools such as Workato, Boomi, Power Automate, or similar platforms is a plus.
- Comfort working with technical stakeholders and tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Salesforce, CLM platforms, e-signature tools, and reporting/data visualization platforms.
- Proficiency with Excel and experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar reporting and data visualization tools.

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in legal operations, contract operations, business operations, systems support, data analytics, or a related operational role; experience in a global technology company or corporate legal department is preferred.
- 2+ years of experience gathering data analytics, creating reports and developing dashboards to track KPIs.
- Bachelors degree in legal studies, business, accounting, finance, data analytics, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Duties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table. This role requires occasional travel (10%),including international trips, and the ability to obtain and maintain a valid passport and any necessary visas.
