About the Role
As a Content Development Editor in the Regulatory Compliance team, you will be responsible for the end to end development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of regulatory compliance content.
You will monitor regulatory and legislative change, work closely with subject matter experts, and translate complex regulatory developments into accurate , practical, and accessible content for customers. The role is highly hands on, combining content development, editorial judgement, workflow management, and cross functional collaboration to ensure products remain current, reliable, and commercially relevant.
This role actively encourages the responsible use of AI to improve content quality, speed, and scalability, with the Content Development Editor retaining full editorial and legal accountability.
Responsibilities
  • M onitor and analyse regulatory developments, legislative reforms, regulatory guidance, enforcement actions, and relevant case law.
  • Assess the impact of regulatory change on existing content and plan timely updates, enhancements, or rewrites.
  • Draft, edit, and structure regulatory compliance content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and practical usability for customers.
  • Ensure content is kept current through regular reviews, scheduled updates, and reactive change management.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the portfolio, including target market, authors, positioning, structure, and development needs.
  • Implement subject matter knowledge and customer insights to deliver content that ensures currency, relevance, and accessibility across products.
  • Identify and implement plans to harvest, refresh, or discontinue underperforming modules.
  • Develop and communicate the value proposition of all modules within the portfolio.
  • Support new content development proposals and the implementation of new content and titles in various practice areas and/or jurisdictions .
Requirements
  • Law degree or equivalent legal qualification.
  • 3 4 years experience in content development, legal publishing, regulatory compliance, or a related role.
  • Strong drafting and editing skills, with the ability to translate complex regulatory material into clear, practical content.
  • Good understanding of publishing workflows, editorial processes, and content management systems.
  • Strong organisational , problem solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines in a fast changing regulatory environment.
  • Hybrid working model once a week from the office.
