Course Development: Develop or contribute to the development of course curricula, lesson plans, and teaching materials

Assessment: Evaluate and grade student assignments, exams, and projects, providing feedback and guidance for improvement

Research: Depending on the academic institution, Lecturers may be expected to engage in research activities, which can include conducting research projects, publishing research papers, and contributing to the academic community

Office Hours: Make themselves available for student consultations and academic advising during scheduled office hours

Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to students, including helping them navigate their academic and career goals
