Learning And Development Specialist_Sonipat (F&B Trainer)

Key responsibilities

Training and development within the Hotel, Hospitality, Food Services, F&B Operations. The core duties of a Learning and Development Manager include overseeing and managing training programs to support employee growth. This role ensures that learning experiences are effective and aligned with organizational objectives.

• Candidates with prior experience as an F&B Operations Trainer or in food service operations training preferred.
• Training needs assessment. Conduct assessments to identify competencies and training needs across departments, using data to prioritize learning initiatives.
• Program design and implementation. Develop and implement training programs, including adult learning and e-learning methodologies, ensuring alignment with the organizations goals.
• Collaboration with stakeholders. Work closely with human resources, department heads, and learning and development specialists to create tailored learning solutions.
• Content creation. Design instructional materials and modules based on learning principles and learning strategies, authoring content for online courses, learning materials, and training sessions.
• Learning management systems (LMS). Oversee the administration of LMS, ensuring that training courses and modules are accessible and up to date.
• Evaluation and reporting. Measure the effectiveness of training programs through metrics and feedback, making adjustments to improve learning outcomes.

Qualifications and skills

Candidates should have a blend of educational qualifications, work experience, and technical and interpersonal skills to excel in the role of a Learning and Development Manager.

• Education: A bachelors degree in Hotel Management/HR; a masters degree is preferred.
• Work experience: At least 5 years of experience in day-to-day training and development in Hotel/FMCG Industry, human resources, or a related field.
• Technical skills: Proficiency in LMS, project management tools, and authoring software for training content is essential.
• Soft skills: Strong presentation skills, interpersonal abilities, and leadership skills to effectively guide learners through various learning experiences.
