Learning and Development Specialist

Role Overview:

At KLA Corporate Trainers deliver high quality learning experiences for employees and managers across the organisation. This role includes facilitating Corporate Learning Center (CLC) courses (virtual and in person), supporting team development sessions, providing 1:1 coaching, and contributing to instructional design and content development. Ideal candidates are passionate about developing people, strong communicators, and motivated to grow in the area of Learning & Development.

 

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chennai. This is an individual contributor role, report to Director, Corporate Learning Center based in Israel.

 

Course Delivery

• Deliver CLC curriculum across professional, management, and team development programs in virtual or in person settings, following CLC instructional standards.
• Create a learnercentered, engaging environment through discussion, practice, and clear facilitation.

Team Development Facilitation

• Facilitate team development workshops on a variety of topics (for example: team communication, interfaces management, team goals and strategies etc.)

OneonOne Coaching

• Provide coaching on communication, team dynamics, and related topics.
• Support learners in applying course concepts to real workplace situations.

 

Instructional Design & Content Development

• Contribute to course material updates: slides, exercises, guides, and facilitator notes.
• Contribute to digital learning resources.
• Participate in ongoing curriculum improvements.

 

Operational & Learning Support

• Support course and offering setup in Workday Learning (LMS) (scheduling, roster management, pre and post-class communications).
• Partner with Workday Learning teams to ensure accurate attendance and reporting.
• Partner with managers and HRBPs to understand needs and recommend appropriate solutions.

 

 

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher degree in HR, Psychology, Communication, Education, Organisational Development (or related subject) or hold equivalent level of experience
  OR

Engineering or other technical degrees with relevant experience

• Proven experience in niche engineering, hiring, scaleup environments, and leadership stakeholder management.
• 5-8 years relevant experience as an Instructor in Semiconductor, IT Software & Services, Medical Devices, or Product Engineering/R&D environments.

• Ensures operational excellence in course setup, attendance tracking, and coordination with LMS/Workday Learning teams.
• Builds strong partnerships with managers, HRBPs, and stakeholders to identify development needs and recommend appropriate learning solutions.

Shows adaptability and growth in expanding capability across facilitation, coaching, and instructional design.
