Position : Lead, Service Delivery Implementation
Location : Pune
The Lead, Technology Resiliency Enablement Office (TREO) Governance is responsible for leading the day-to-day governance, oversight, and continuous improvement of the enterprise technology resiliency program. This role ensures that Disaster Recovery (DR), Backup Recovery, Point-in-Time Recovery (PiTR), Cyber Recovery, Observability, Capacity Management, and Technology Resiliency standards are consistently implemented, measured, and maintained across the organization. This role partners with Infrastructure Engineering, Application Development, Cloud Engineering, Cybersecurity, Enterprise Architecture, SRE, Technology Operations, Risk Management, Internal Audit, and Business Continuity teams to ensure technology resiliency controls are effective, compliant, and aligned with regulatory expectations. This position combines strong governance, program management, and technical resiliency knowledge with the ability to influence cross-functional teams in a highly regulated financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Technology Resiliency Governance: Execute the enterprise Technology Resiliency Governance framework.
- Support the development and maintenance of resiliency policies, standards, procedures, and governance documentation.
- Ensure consistent implementation of enterprise resiliency standards across technology organizations.
- Facilitate governance forums, working groups, and steering committees.
- Track governance actions, decisions, and remediation activities.
Standards Oversight
- Support governance and compliance for enterprise standards including:
- Disaster Recovery (DR)
- Backup Restore
- Point-in-Time Recovery (PiTR)
- Cyber Recovery
- Recovery Testing
- Capacity Management
- Technology Observability and Monitoring
- Logging Standards
- Third-Party Technology Resiliency
- Technology Resiliency Architecture
- Operational Resilience Controls
- Monitor adherence and coordinate corrective actions where gaps are identified.
Governance Reviews Assessments
- Lead and coordinate: Technology resiliency assessments
- Standards compliance reviews
- Recovery plan quality reviews
- Testing readiness assessments
- Recovery capability maturity reviews
- Risk and control assessments
- Governance health checks
- Exception and waiver reviews
- Document findings, recommendations, and remediation plans.
Metrics Reporting
- Develop and maintain enterprise reporting including:
- Governance scorecards
- Standards compliance dashboards
- Recovery testing metrics
- RTO/RPO/PiTR compliance reporting
- Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Executive reporting packages
- Governance maturity tracking
- Action item reporting
- Provide analysis and recommendations to technology leadership.
Regulatory Audit Support
- Coordinate governance support for: Internal Audit
- External Audit
- Regulatory examinations
- Control testing
- Risk assessments
- Issue remediation
- Evidence collection
- Matters Requiring Attention (MRAs/MRIAs)
- Ensure governance documentation is complete, accurate, and audit-ready.
Risk Management
- Partner with Enterprise Risk Management to:
- Identify technology resiliency risks.
- Track remediation activities.
- Monitor control effectiveness.
- Manage standards exceptions.
- Escalate material risks.
- Support risk reporting and governance.
Continuous Improvement
- Drive enhancements to governance processes through:
- Workflow automation
- Governance dashboards
- Self-service reporting
- AI-assisted reporting
- Standardization of governance processes
- Process simplification
- Data quality improvements
- Operational efficiency initiatives
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with: Infrastructure Engineering; Cloud Engineering; Cybersecurity; Enterprise Architecture; Application Development; Platform Engineering; SRE; Technology Operations; Business Continuity; Enterprise Risk; Internal Audit; Vendor Management
- Promote enterprise-wide adoption of resiliency governance practices.
Leadership Responsibilities
- Lead a team of governance analysts and resiliency professionals.
- Assign work priorities and oversee day-to-day execution.
- Mentor and develop team members.
- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate work across global teams and external partners where applicable.
- Support workforce planning and performance management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
- 7+ years of experience in technology governance, IT risk, disaster recovery, infrastructure, cybersecurity, or operational resilience.
- 2 4 years of experience leading teams or major cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience working within a large, highly regulated organization, preferably in financial services.
- Strong program management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Technical Knowledge
- Working knowledge of: Disaster Recovery; Backup Restore; Point-in-Time Recovery (PiTR); Cyber Recovery; Operational Resilience; Infrastructure and Cloud Services; AWS and Microsoft Azure; ServiceNow; Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platforms; ITIL processes; Observability and Monitoring; Capacity Management; Enterprise Architecture principles; Risk and control frameworks
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience required.
- Experience supporting regulatory examinations and audit engagements.
- Knowledge of GSIB operational resilience expectations and financial industry regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with recovery technologies, including immutable backups, air-gapped recovery, clean rooms, and isolated recovery environments (IREs).
- Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISA, CRISC, CBCP, or equivalent are desirable.
