Job Summary
We are seeking a Mechanical Simulation Engineer with the following key qualifications and skills:
- Experience Range:10-15+ Years
- Proficiency in Teamcenter NX, HyperMesh, and Abaqus
- Expertise in mechanical simulation and analysis, including structural, dynamic, fatigue, and bolt joint analyses
- Experience in the heavy equipment domain
- Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
About the Role
As a Mechanical Simulation Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting product design and development within the heavy equipment domain. You will be responsible for performing advanced mechanical simulation and analysis to ensure product performance and durability.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical simulation and analysis to support product design and development in the heavy equipment domain.
- Develop, review, and validate FE models, mesh quality, and simulation setups with appropriate loads and boundary conditions.
- Conduct structural, dynamic, fatigue, and bolt joint analyses to evaluate product performance and durability.
- Analyze simulation results and present findings through graphical reports and engineering recommendations.
- Identify and recommend design improvements to enhance strength, reliability, manufacturability, and overall product performance.
- Work extensively on large and complex assemblies while ensuring compliance with engineering standards and development processes.
- Collaborate closely with design, manufacturing, and product engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Contribute to concept development and detailed design of complex components and subsystems.
- Support engineering activities related to sheet metal structures, castings, weldments, and manufacturing processes.
- Ensure effective integration of simulation methodologies into the product design and validation process.
