Job Description
Role Overview:
As a Decision Scientist, you will work on building statistical models, implementing ML algorithms, and generating visualizations to support data-driven decisions. You will work under the guidance of senior team members and contribute to the development of reusable analytical modules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and transform datasets from multiple sources for analysis.
- Develop statistical models and machine learning algorithms with guidance from senior team members.
- Write structured, modular code and contribute to knowledge assets on GitHub/Wiki.
- Build dashboards and visualizations (Tableau/Python) or recommendation decks (PPT) to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide analytical solutions.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 6+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or machine learning.
- Knowledge of applied statistics, regression, decision trees, forecasting, optimization, clustering, NLP.
- Working proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark, Hadoop, Tableau, Excel, PowerPoint, GitHub.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
