Overview of the Role:
We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer with expertise in front-end (React.js/Vue.js) and back-end development (Java/Node.js) to join our team. You will play a key role in developing and optimizing eCommerce and marketing applications while leading a team of engineers. The ideal candidate should have a passion for technology, strong leadership abilities, and hands-on experience in modern web development frameworks and architectures.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Product Managers to design and define new product features.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of 5-8 full stack and backend engineers .
  • Write high-quality, reusable, and scalable code, adhering to coding standards .
  • Influence the technical direction of the engineering team and collaborate on complex solutions involving multiple teams.
  • Actively participate in Scrum meetings , including planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives .
  • Contribute to Communities-of-Practice and Continuous Education programs to enhance team knowledge and skill sets.
  • Work on initiatives that directly impact the companys eCommerce and marketing strategy , contributing to over 50% of company sales .
  • Ensure the implementation of UI performance and accessibility best practices for an enhanced user experience.
  • Own critical domains and collaborate across teams to optimize web analytics, data instrumentation, and tracking .
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields (or equivalent work experience).
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS .
  • 4+ years of experience working with React.js or Vue.js .
  • 4+ years of backend development experience in Java or Node.js .
  • Experience with TypeScript is highly desirable.
  • Strong background in large-scale eCommerce systems and understanding of retail business dynamics.
  • In-depth knowledge of UI performance optimization and accessibility best practices .
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-based architectures .
  • Proficiency in version control systems (Git, SVN) and CI/CD tools .
  • Ability to mentor and lead development teams, providing guidance on best practices and system architecture.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a data-driven mindset .
