Job Description
- As a Lead Product Development Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in product engineering, research, development and enhancement in existing software systems, with a focus on security and network-related products
- You will leverage your expertise in building scalable solutions and your extensive experience with technologies such as Redis, Elasticsearch, Python, Django, Django Rest Framework, Flask and Vue.js to drive innovation and deliver high-quality products
- You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the development and improvement of our cybersecurity solutions
Responsibilities
- Own the design, development and management of high-performance, scalable, and secure software solutions for threat intelligence.
- Architect and implement distributed systems tailored for security and network-related products.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and design solutions aligned with business objectives.
- As a Product specialist focused on web scraping, you will build solutions for scraping data from various sources and processing big and unstructured data sets.
- Own the creation process of these tools, services, and workflows to improve crawl/scrape analysis, reports, and data management.
- Be responsible for testing the data and scrape to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance.
- Adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for optimization, performance tuning, and scalability enhancements.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in related technologies, contributing to technical discussions and decision-making processes.
- Ensure code quality, security, and scalability standards are maintained throughout the development lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.
- Ability to work independently and remotely.
- Team Management and assisting team to resolve technical issues.
What Youll Need
- Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven track record as a software engineer specializing in Python, Django, Django Rest Framework, Flask development for at least 3-4 year.
- Extensive experience building security and network-related products is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, code reusability and object-oriented design principles.
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, and other relevant technologies.
- Hands-on experience with front-end languages and libraries (e.g., Vue.js, HTML/ CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, tailwind).
- Experience with tools like BeautifulSoup, Selenium, Scrapy and headless browsing to automate intricate data extraction tasks via pipeline, even from protected or dynamically loaded web pages.
- Experience with automated bypassing of common web barriers by leveraging methodologies like proxy rotation, user agent and device fingerprint modification, and CAPTCHA challenges.
- Proven track record as a web scraping specializing in Python, Scrapy, Selenium, Playwright for at least 1-2 year.
- Extensive experience building security and network-related products is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with Scrapy, Selenium, Playwright.
- Experience with Git, Docker and Ansible.
- Hands-on experience with background task processing and related technologies,
- Familiarity with Linux operating system (Ubuntu/Debian).
- Proficiency in designing and optimizing relational and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience with Git, Docker and Ansible.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
- Ability to work independently and remotely.
Added advantage: Prior experience working with Security solution, Threat Intelligence, Machine learning, Web Scraping, etc.
