Impact (Job Summary/Why This Role Matters)This role ensures uninterrupted operations of a mission-critical API management platform. You will lead initiatives around vulnerability remediation, platform upgrades, incident response, and performance tuning ensuring APIs are secure, scalable, and always available for business applications.
Your work directly contributes to delivering resilient digital banking services and ensuring compliance with the latest security standards.
Key Deliverables (Duties and Responsibilities)- Lead 24x7 support for the Apigee platform including proactive monitoring and incident resolution.
- Own and execute the Apigee upgrade lifecycle including planning, testing, and deployment.
- Analyze and resolve platform vulnerabilities and security alerts in coordination with security teams.
- Drive automation of routine tasks for deployment, monitoring, and logging.
- Collaborate with developers, infrastructure, and cloud teams for integrated platform operations.
- Maintain detailed documentation for configurations, processes, and incident response runbooks.
- Performance tuning of complex data pipelines and SQL queries.
- Performs impact analysis of proposed changes on existing architecture, capabilities, system priorities, and technology solutions.

- Expertise in Apigee Edge (Private and/or Hybrid Cloud) administration and operations.
- Strong experience with platform upgrades, certificate rotations, and patching.
- Hands-on experience in DevOps/CI-CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub, Ansible, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of API protocols (REST, OAuth, JWT, mTLS).
- Familiarity with Linux administration, shell scripting, and Kubernetes is preferred.
- Understanding of vulnerability assessment tools and secure SDLC practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and incident response skills.
- Prior experience in supporting critical platforms with 24x7 coverage and SLAs.
