Lead -Security

Purpose/Objective

The Officer - Security at Adani Power Limited in Udupi (Karnataka) will be responsible for implementing security measures to safeguard the company's assets, employees, and visitors. The role requires a proactive individual with 4-5 years of experience in security management, who is dedicated to maintaining a safe and secure environment in alignment with Adani's values of safety, integrity, and excellence

Key Responsibilities of Role

- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the safety of personnel and assets - Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend solutions - Supervise security staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluation - Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security threats or incidents promptly - Coordinate with local law enforcement agencies and emergency services as needed - Investigate security breaches and create detailed reports for management review - Maintain a secure environment by enforcing access control measures and visitor management protocols - Participate in drills and exercises to test the effectiveness of security plans and procedures - Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging security technologies

Technical Competencies

Knowledge of security operations and risk management,Monitor surveillance systems,Proficiency in using security systems and equipment,Understanding of emergency response protocols

Qualifications and Experience

- 4-5 years of experience in security management - Minimum Bachelor's degree in a related field
