Job Summary We are seeking a Lead Engineer Quality to oversee and enhance quality processes within our operations. The role involves ensuring adherence to quality standards, identifying gaps and implementing improvements to maintain high levels of product and process reliability, particularly within the solar industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage quality assurance and quality control activities across projects and operations.

• Develop, implement and monitor quality standards, procedures and guidelines.

• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with internal and external quality requirements.

• Plan and lead yearly quality audits for certifications including ESG, ISO and other regulatory standards, ensuring full compliance.

• Identify process gaps, risks, and areas of improvement, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements and company policies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (projects, operations, procurement) to maintain quality benchmarks.

• Analyse quality data and prepare reports for management review.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote a quality-focused culture within the organization.

Educational Qualification

• Diploma or B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of quality management systems and tools.

• Experience in solar industry quality practices and standards.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Attention to detail and process-oriented mindset.

• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.

Preferred Attributes

• Prior experience in handling quality for solar projects or manufacturing.

• Familiarity with audits, inspections and compliance frameworks.

• Leadership capability with a proactive approach.
