Position: Lead Quality Engineer
Comapany : L&T Hydrcoacrbon
Location : Jamnagar, Gujarat
Qualification : Bachelor s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Verification of materials, mill test certificates and confirming compliance to the code & company requirements during IMIR clearance.
- Must have experience as Lead Quality Engineer
- Conducting welding procedure qualification tests and maintaining procedure qualification records (PQR) for Structural, Tank & Piping works.
- Preparation of Welding Procedure Specification & conducting Procedure Qualification test at site per requirement.
- Verification of welding consumables BTCs & conduct necessary Qualification test at site.
- Preparation of Job procedure & ITP pertaining to Structural, Piping & Tank works.
- Periodical Site Internal Audits.
- Visually inspecting the fit up & welded joints of Structural, Tank & Piping works.
- Welding inspection (surveillance checks before, during and after welding)
- Conducting all NDT inspections and preparation of all inspection records.
- Coordination with Customer for necessary day-to-day inspections.
- Piping test package preparation, review, and site verification and punching the pending activities.
- NDT Clearance of Piping Test packs
- Hydrotest witness of Tank & Piping system.
