Lead Python Developer - Django/Flask (9-11 yrs)

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable applications using Python.

- Architect robust backend systems using frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.

- Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and best practices.

- Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders to define technical solutions.

- Design and develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.

- Ensure application scalability, security, performance, and reliability.

- Drive software development best practices, coding standards, and design patterns.

- Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and perform root cause analysis.

- Design and optimize database schemas for SQL and NoSQL databases.

- Oversee CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud deployments.

- Participate in sprint planning, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making.

- Ensure timely project delivery while maintaining high-quality engineering standards.

Required Skills :

- 9 - 11 years of experience in Python application development.

- Strong expertise in Python and frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.

- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.

- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software architecture.

- Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.

- Knowledge of CI/CD tools, Git, and DevOps practices.

- Experience with asynchronous programming, Celery, or message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.

- Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
