Lead Product Designer

We are looking for an extraordinary hands-on Lead Product designer to work & lead across all our products. You will bring an compromised bar of quality to the look and feel of digital experiences and how they re represented across platforms. You have experience working across a variety of design areas, including branding, visual design, art direction and interactive. You are a problem-solver responsible for conceptualising, designing and implementing visual elements and new experiences based on product requirements. Deliverables include design mockups, production of visual assets and producing documentation required for implementation with engineering teams.

Design Leadership & Strategy

• Lead and define the design strategy, vision, and principles for one or more product areas.

• Translate product goals and business requirements into exceptional user experiences.

End-to-End Design Execution

• Own the entire design lifecycle - from research and discovery to wireframes, prototypes, and final UI designs.

• Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on feedback and data.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, and other teams to integrate design into product decisions.

• Ensure alignment between design and broader product/business objectives.

Design Systems & Standards

• Maintain and evolve design systems, ensuring consistency across platforms.

• Advocate for accessibility, inclusive design, and best practices.

Mentorship & Team Growth

• Mentor, guide, and potentially manage other product designers or UX/UI designers.

• Promote collaborative design thinking and encourage experimentation and learning.

• 5+ years work experience

• A command of visual and communication design principles including typography, iconography and grid systems with experience applying this knowledge across various platforms.

• Experience designing, maintaining and implementing design systems with precision from start to finish including the development process.

• Ability to communicate design concepts through sketches, high-fidelity comps and/or prototypes.

• Highly skilled in Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote and other design tools.

• Enthusiasm for an iterative design process, inspired by group critique.

• Able to function independently and in a team environment, with excellent collaboration skills.
