Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Ability to understand scope of supply and Division of Work and Technical and commercial contract documentation as appropriate for their work and their team.
- Make the contract review , Review the technical contractual requirements, and analyze the rules, codes and standards applicable to Process engineering.
- Detailed knowledge of power plant water/steam cycles and/or ST auxiliary systems and/or generator auxiliary systems and Basic knowledge of products: Steam Turbine, Generator, Heat exchangers and Pumps,
- Execute (with the other Process engineers of their project team and supported by experts) the following Process engineering activities:
- the Process systems design i.e. the process flow diagrams (PFD), the P&IDs and associated components lists (e.g., piping list, valve list, equipment list), the System Design Manuals (SDM), Analogue and Logic Diagrams (PFuP), the Electrical and I&C interfaces, the process electrical load list (list of electrical consumers with process engineering data only), The piping interfaces list.
- The functional safety studies: HAZOP, safety functions (SIL) requirements, excluding Safety Requirements Specification, SIL verification reports, Input data for fatigue analysis, the Reliability Availability and Maintainability (RAM) studies.
- Manage the mechanical and functional interfaces with internal participants (product lines, mechanical packages) and external parties (customer, general designer, partner, supplier)
- Participate to the project design reviews & design gate reviews and provide the PEM with necessary documents for design reviews preparations and reports
Preferred candidate profile
Education and Experience: Graduate in Mechanical engineering or equivalent
For Process Engineer - 4-6 yrs
For lead - Experience in power sector company (8 -14 years), out of which at least 5 years professional experience in Process Engineering within Power Plant Engineering.
Good to have : Site experience if any (3 months minimum) and Trained to Nuclear safety culture
