Lead Java Developer

Job Title: Lead Java Backend Developer

Experience: 8-15 Years
Location: Hyderabad / Bangalore / Pune / Chennai (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Architect and implement Microservices-based solutions for high-volume applications.
• Develop secure and high-performance RESTful APIs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
• Lead technical design discussions, code reviews, and architectural decisions.
• Optimize application performance, database queries, and system scalability.
• Work closely with Product, QA, DevOps, and Architecture teams.
• Mentor developers and drive engineering excellence across the team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Java 8/11/17+.
• Hands-on expertise with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate.
• Strong experience in Microservices Architecture.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Excellent understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Object-Oriented Design.
• Strong coding and problem-solving skills.
• Expertise in SQL, query optimization, indexing, and database design.
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Knowledge of messaging systems such as Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and scalable application design.

AWS Requirements (Good to have)

• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as:
• EC2
• S3
• RDS
• Lambda
• ECS/EKS
• CloudWatch
• Experience deploying and managing cloud-native applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in system design and architecture for large-scale applications.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of security best practices for APIs and Microservices.
• AWS Certification is an added advantage.
• Prior experience leading development teams.
