Job Title: Salesforce DevOps Engineer

Job Summary:
The Salesforce DevOps Engineer is responsible for managing CI/CD pipelines, release automation, environment management, and deployment processes for Salesforce applications. This role ensures reliable, secure, and efficient delivery across multiple environments while supporting Agile and release governance practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments
Manage Salesforce release management across Dev, QA, UAT, and Production environments
Automate build, test, validation, and deployment processes using DevOps tools
Support source control management using Git (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket)
Handle Salesforce metadata, change sets, and version control best practices
Enforce deployment standards, rollback strategies, and governance controls
Collaborate with Salesforce developers, admins, QA, and PMs to plan releases
Monitor deployment issues and provide root cause analysis and resolution
Support Agile/Scrum release cycles and sprint-based deployments
Ensure compliance with security, audit, and enterprise standards
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong hands on experience in Salesforce DevOps and Release Management
Proficiency with Salesforce DX (SFDX), Metadata API, and CLI
Experience with DevOps tools such as Copado, Gearset, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions
Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture (Apex, LWC, Flows, Security Model)
Strong experience in environment management and deployment automation
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD best practices
Preferred Qualifications:
Salesforce certifications (Platform App Builder, PD1, DevOps tools certs)
Experience in Healthcare / BFS / regulated environments
Exposure to large scale Salesforce implementations
Knowledge of DevSecOps and compliance-driven delivery models
Soft Skills:
Strong collaboration and communication skills
High ownership and attention to detail
Ability to work with cross functional and distributed teams
Problem solving mindset with a focus on stability and automation
