Experience Range
  • 4 7 Years of hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA ABAP Development
  • Experience in at least two end-to-end S/4HANA migration/conversion projects (Brownfield/Greenfield) is mandatory.

Must-Have Skills
SAP S/4HANA Technical Expertise
  • Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA ABAP Development
  • Custom Code Remediation using SAP Readiness Check, ABAP Test Cockpit (ATC), and SCMON
  • Experience handling S/4HANA Simplification List impacts (MATNR Extension, Business Partner Conversion, ACDOCA/BSEG changes, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience in SPDD, SPAU, and SPAU_ENH activities during system upgrades/conversions
ABAP Development
  • Strong expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP)
  • Development of CDS Views
  • Hands-on experience with ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP)
  • Experience with ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) or BOPF
  • Development and enhancement of OData Services (SEGW)
  • Experience with BAdIs, User Exits, Enhancements, BAPIs , and RICEF objects
Performance Optimization
  • SQL performance tuning for SAP HANA
  • Experience using ST05 (SQL Trace) and SAT (Runtime Analysis)
  • Knowledge of Clean Core strategy and SAP Best Practices
Tools Methodology
  • Eclipse (ADT)
  • SAP Migration Cockpit
  • ABAP Test Cockpit (ATC)
  • SAP Activate Methodology
  • Agile/Scrum delivery model
Functional Knowledge
  • Basic understanding of SAP FI and SAP SD modules for technical mapping and debugging
Good-to-Have Skills
  • SAP Certified Development Specialist ABAP for SAP HANA
  • SAP Fiori/UI5 Development
  • SAP Master Data Governance (MDG)
  • Experience with SAP Best Practices implementation
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform custom code remediation for SAP S/4HANA migration projects.
  • Analyze and resolve impacts identified through SAP Readiness Check and Simplification List.
  • Support system conversion activities, including SPDD, SPAU, and SPAU_ENH adjustments.
  • Design and develop HANA-optimized solutions using CDS Views and AMDP.
  • Develop and enhance OData services for SAP Fiori applications.
  • Build and maintain RICEF objects using modern ABAP development standards.
  • Optimize SQL queries and ABAP code for SAP HANA performance.
  • Ensure compliance with Clean Core principles and SAP Best Practices.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants to support technical mapping, debugging, and issue resolution.
  • Participate in SAP Activate project phases and Agile delivery activities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • SAP Certified Development Specialist ABAP for SAP HANA.
  • Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 and MDG implementations.
