Description:

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

  • Responsible for the administrative, coaching and leadership roles that make Scrum development/delivery possible.
  • Works with business partners to identify and implement multiple and complex technical systems and/or products of varying sizes.
  • Manages medium to large systems and/or products.
  • Acts as a buffer between the team and process overhead, so each team member can focus on the timely delivery of software.
  • Shields the team from interruptions and removes obstacles that may impact the delivery of the product.
  • Guides the team s operations by facilitating ceremonies (e.g. daily standup, sprint planning) and instilling Agile principles into daily activities to ensure smooth functioning of the delivery team.
  • Facilitates internal and external communications (e.g. task coordination, progress tracking/reporting, dependency management).
  • Ensure team is well-informed on internal and external initiatives and activities.
  • Keeps external stakeholders, collaborates, and other interested parties are well-informed on team progress and activities.
  • To ensure smooth delivery of team, tracks and removes and obstacles and barriers that may prevent progress.

QUALIFICATION

  • B.Tech /B.E /MCA

EXPERIENCE

  • 7+ years experience as a Scrum master
  • 7+ working years of strong experience on Jira, Agile methodologies.
  • 7+ working years of Strong Experience on ETL, Data warehouse

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Running the scrum ceremonies and managing the backlog in tandem with the PO & Tech lead.
  • Assist the Product Owner and Business Analyst in Planning activities for the scrum team.
  • Guiding the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values.
  • Guiding the team on how to be a matured scrum team
  • Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization.
  • Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment.
  • Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis of healing and problem solving.
  • Facilitating getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work.
  • Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
  • Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information
  • Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog.
  • Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible, and leading by example
