Job Description
Lead hardware development activities for industrial electronic control products involving obsolescence management, hardware redesign, component qualification, validation, EMC compliance, and product lifecycle sustainment while maintaining form, fit, and functional compatibility with legacy products.
Roles and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Lead hardware development from requirements through release.
- Drive schematic updates, design reviews, and engineering changes.
- Lead digital hardware integration activities including power, clocking, reset, and communication interfaces.
- Review PCB layouts, SI/PI analysis, thermal, reliability, and compliance activities.
- Drive DFMEA, MTBF, DFT, DFM, and DFA initiatives.
- Lead Alpha, Beta, validation, and manufacturing support activities.
- Manage technical risks and engineering issue resolution.
- Work closely with firmware, validation, manufacturing, and compliance teams.
