Job Description
-Lead a team of engineers to deliver automation projects based on Siemens PCS7 platform with Safety system and Digitalization projects.
-Perform hardware engineering of Siemens PCS7 system including factory acceptance, IO configuration, loading and testing.
-Develop programming of PCS7 control systems, conduct factory acceptance Testing, Site commissioning and create as- built documentation.
-Be involved throughout the software /system life cycle, from design to coding and testing phase.
-Supervision of Installation, configuration, testing and commissioning work at client sites.
-Shall aware of FAT factory testing, offline testing & simulation.
-Hands on experience in Siemens panel design, including S7400 normal and safety systems, ESD system, cause and effect preparation and implementation F & G systems engineering.
-On digitization projects, selection of sensor, data warehousing, Machine learning, analyzing the data and deriving results out of it. Data Center design and engineering, standardization and implementation.
Desirable Skills-
-Knowledge of PCS7 AS & OS, including their selection and configurations.
-Hands on experience with PCS7 Libraries and advanced process libraries.
-Familiarity with Safety Matrix Software and Cause & Effect diagram/chart.
-Proficiency in protocols such as Profinet, Profibus, Modbus TCP/IP, serial Modbus Communication.
-Shall able to use Siemens configuration tool for selection of Bill of material.
-Desirable to work on redundant PLC & control systems& redundant Scada systems.
-Should be able to generate customized function libraries and object libraries.
-Hands-on experience in calculating project objects.
-Proficient in managing project data in the SIMATIC Manager.
-Configuration of AS functions in CFC and sequences in SFC.
-Knowledge of syntax rules for SIMATIC PCS 7 engineering.
-Understanding of PCS7 architecture, PCS7 Compatibility matrix and inbuilt software package details.
-Knowledge of up gradation or migration of old PCS7 systems.
-Familiarity with all PCS7 Hardware & diagnostic tools & methodologies.
