About the Role

At RevX, infrastructure engineering operates at an extreme - our DSP handles 5M+ bid requests per second, backed by self-managed Aerospike clusters, high-throughput C/C++ bidding engines, and petabyte-scale GCP data pipelines. We are now expanding our Gen AI footprint to build intelligent automation across DevOps, observability, and AdTech operations.

We are looking for a technically exceptional Lead DevOps Engineer to own reliability, scalability, and platform automation across our entire production stack - driving architecture, mentoring the team, and setting the bar for infrastructure-as-code and AI-assisted operations.

What You'll Do

Infrastructure Cloud
- Own end-to-end GCP architecture, provisioning, and cost optimization for high-QPS, low-latency ad serving
- Drive capacity planning, security posture, and reliability standards across all environments
CI/CD Release Engineering
- Architect and evolve Jenkins-based pipelines for C/C++, Java, and Angular workloads deployed on Rocky
Linux
- Enforce zero-downtime deployment strategies, release governance, and artifact management
Observability Reliability
- Define SLOs/SLAs; build and maintain Grafana and Graphite dashboards, alerting, and runbooks
- Lead incident response, blameless post-mortems, and continuous reliability improvements
Gen AI Automation
- Build LLM-powered DevOps tools - intelligent alerting, runbook automation, anomaly detection, and cost optimization bots
- Drive CI/CD intelligence and AdTech-specific operational automation using Vertex AI and GCP-native AI services
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and grow the DevOps team; define best practices and set technical direction for platform engineering
Leadership Mindset

IaC and Configuration Management

What We're Looking For

Core Requirements

7+ years in DevOps/SRE roles; 3+ years in a senior or lead capacity
Deep GCP expertise - Compute, GKE, Networking, IAM, BigQuery, Vertex AI
Hands-on Aerospike administration: cluster management, namespace design, tuning, XDR replication
Experience deploying and managing C/C++ applications on Rocky Linux / CentOS (GCC toolchain, RPM packaging)
Terraform (advanced): modular design, remote state, workspaces, policy-as-code
Jenkins pipeline architecture for compiled and frontend workloads; Ansible at scale

Observability Scripting

Grafana + Graphite: dashboard design, alerting rules, metric cardinality management
Scripting mastery in Bash and Python - automation, tooling, data processing

Databases Networking

MySQL/RDS - performance tuning, replication, and backup strategies
CloudFront CDN - cache policies, origin config; strong TCP/IP, DNS, and Linux internals knowledge

Leadership Mindset

Strong ownership - you drive problems to resolution, not just escalate them
Clear communicator; able to translate infrastructure complexity to non-technical stakeholders
Data-driven, self-motivated, and thrives in high-ownership, fast-paced environments

Preferred Qualifications

Experience building Gen AI / LLM-powered internal tools - agents, chatbots, or workflow automation
Docker and Kubernetes (GKE) for containerized workload management
AdTech domain experience: DSP/SSP, Real-Time Bidding (RTB), OpenRTB
AWS working knowledge (EC2, S3, CloudFront)

Education

B.E. / B.Tech / BCA / MCS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
