Lead Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Coach and guide development teams on effective usage of GitHub Copilot.
• Help developers leverage AI-assisted coding for code generation, code optimization, documentation, and unit test creation.
• Understand team development workflows and recommend Copilot best practices.
• Support onboarding, adoption, and post-adoption activities for customer teams.
• Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions, demos, and hands-on workshops.
• Collect adoption metrics, feedback, and improvement opportunities from teams.
• Prepare user guidance, process documentation, and best practice documents.
• Coordinate with scrum teams and support teams for issue resolution and enablement activities.
• Participate in client-facing discussions, status meetings, and adoption reviews.

Required Skills

• Strong software development and Agile/Scrum knowledge.
• Experience with GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted development tools.
• Good understanding of SDLC, coding standards, and developer workflows.
• Strong communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional and client-facing teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Java, Python, Angular, or modern development technologies.
• Familiarity with GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Exposure to AI/GenAI tools and developer productivity solutions.
• Experience in platform adoption/support activities.

Project DescriptionGenAI POC and Pilot development for Edward Jones. Project Overview The project is a Proof of Concept (POC) engagement conducted by EPAM Systems for Edward Jones, focusing on the deployment and utilization of the EliteA platform within Edward Jones' Asset Movement program. The primary goal was to explore and demonstrate the capabilities of Generative AI (GenAI) technologies to enhance the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes. Scope of Work - Deployment of the EliteA platform into Edward Jones' infrastructure. - Development and implementation of multiple AI agents including Draft Requirements Agent, Test De-duplication Agent, Test Cases Agent, Automated Test Generation Agent, Knowledge Base/Onboarding Agent, Architecture Agent, Design Document Generation Agent, and Data Generation Agents (Master Data and Test Data). - Use of GitHub Copilot for unit test code generation. - Generation of business requirements, code, test cases, and automated test scripts from existing user stories.
