Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Developer/ Lead Developer - Core Banking to join our dynamic team in Malaysia. In this role, you will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and enhancement of our core banking platform, Silverlake, utilizing AS400 RPG. You will collaborate closely with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our core banking systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain core banking applications on the Silverlake platform using AS400 RPG, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications, providing accurate estimates for development efforts.

- Design, code, test, and implement new features and enhancements to the core banking system, improving functionality and user experience.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to the core banking system, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate core banking systems with other applications, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers, promoting code quality and knowledge sharing.

- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in core banking and AS400 RPG development, recommending innovative solutions to improve our platform.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated proficiency in AS400 RPG programming, including RPGLE, CLLE, and DB2/400.

- Proven experience working with the Silverlake core banking platform.

- Strong understanding of core banking processes and functionalities, such as account management, payments, and lending.

- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with a keen attention to detail.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Minimum 4 years to 20 years of relevant experience.
