Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data pipelines using Airflow to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Snowflake.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and design solutions that meet those needs.
- Develop complex SQL queries to optimize database performance and troubleshoot issues in PySpark applications.
- Ensure high availability of the data platform by implementing monitoring tools and performing regular maintenance tasks.
Job Requirements :
- 6-10 years of experience in a similar role as Lead Data Engineer or Senior Data Engineer.
- Strong expertise in Airflow, PySpark, SQL (including query optimization), and Snowflake.
- Experience working with big data technologies such as Hadoop ecosystem components including HDFS, MapReduce, Hive etc.
