We are seeking a Lead Data Engineer to design, build, and own a modern cloud-based data platform (Lakehouse architecture) that supports enterprise analytics, reporting, and advanced use cases such as risk, fraud, AML, and customer analytics.
This role combines deep technical expertise, platform thinking, and engineering leadership . You will play a key role in shaping data architecture, enabling reliable and scalable data pipelines, enforcing governance and data quality, and partnering closely with analytics, modeling, and business teams.
- Design and evolve a cloud-native Lakehouse architecture using Spark-based technologies (e.g., Databricks or equivalent).
- Define data ingestion, transformation, and serving patterns for batch and nearreal-time use cases.
- Make architectural decisions around storage, compute separation, metadata, and cost optimization .
- Establish reusable frameworks, libraries, and reference architectures.
