Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Solution Design

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine business and technical requirements.
  • Draft solution concepts, architecture approaches, and implementation strategies for monitoring and observability platforms.
  • Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
  • Define workflows, data flows, and integration patterns across systems.

ServiceNow Development (Custom Applications)

  • Design, develop, and enhance custom applications within ServiceNow.
  • Configure workflows, business rules, UI policies, and integrations in the SNOW platform.
  • Ensure best practices in ServiceNow development, scalability, and performance optimization.
  • Work closely with platform owners to align development with enterprise standards.

System Monitoring & Observability

  • Implement and manage system monitoring solutions using OpenTelemetry and other observability tools.
  • Design dashboards and monitoring frameworks aligned with IT.IO and PGA Dashboard requirements.
  • Integrate monitoring solutions with enterprise platforms such as ITT Data Hub.
  • Analyze system performance data to provide actionable insights and improvements.

Implementation & Delivery

  • Lead end-to-end implementation of solutions in close collaboration with Technical Owners and cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure timely delivery with high quality and adherence to project timelines.
  • Coordinate with development, infrastructure, and operations teams for seamless deployment.

Quality Assurance & Testing

  • Define test strategies, test cases, and validation criteria for developed solutions.
  • Perform functional, integration, and system testing to ensure solution quality.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to ensure defect tracking, resolution, and root cause analysis.

Operations & Documentation

  • Oversee ongoing operations, maintenance, and continuous improvement of implemented solutions.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including design specs, user guides, and operational procedures.
  • Ensure knowledge transfer and documentation alignment with organizational standards.

Data Integration & ITT Data Hub

  • Work closely with ITT Data Hub teams to ensure proper data ingestion, processing, and utilization.
  • Define and implement data integration strategies for monitoring and reporting solutions.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability across platforms.

Stakeholder Management & Leadership

  • Act as a bridge between business, development, QA, and operations teams.
  • Collaborate closely with Technical Owners of IT.IO and PGA Dashboard for solution alignment.
  • Lead discussions, workshops, and design sessions with stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide technical and functional guidance.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow (Custom App Development).
  • Expertise in System Monitoring and observability frameworks, especially OpenTelemetry.
  • Experience in Business Analysis, requirement gathering, and solution design.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA practices.
  • Experience in implementing and managing monitoring dashboards and tools.
  • Strong knowledge of integrations, APIs, and data flow architecture.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
