Lead Business Analyst _ Experience: 8+ Years

Role & responsibilities :

Role: Product Owner / Business Analyst PFT

Domain: FX Derivatives / Capital Markets

Location: Pune /

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with business stakeholders, front office, technology teams, and operations teams to gather, analyze, and define business requirements.
• Strong understanding of FX Derivatives products, trade lifecycle, pricing, risk, settlements, and regulatory aspects.
• Drive requirement analysis, backlog grooming, user story creation, and prioritization activities.
• Act as a bridge between business and technology teams for legacy system enhancements, transformation, and modernization initiatives.
• Manage client stakeholders effectively and conduct requirement workshops, sprint discussions, and business reviews.
• Work within Agile/Scrum delivery structures including Streams, Crews, and Pods.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure accurate implementation of business requirements.
• Support sprint planning, UAT coordination, defect triage, and release management activities.
• Ensure business objectives, timelines, and delivery commitments are met.

Required Skills

• Strong experience as Product Owner / Business Analyst within FX domain.
• Hands-on experience in FX Derivatives domain is mandatory.
• Expertise in requirement gathering, business analysis, backlog grooming, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience handling legacy enhancement and strategic transformation projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Good understanding of Agile delivery model, Scrum ceremonies, Streams, Crews, and Pods structure.
• Ability to drive discussions independently with business and technology stakeholders.
• Exposure to JIRA, Confluence, and Agile tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with global banking clients.
• Knowledge of trade processing, risk systems, and regulatory reporting.
• Exposure to data analysis and SQL is an added advantage.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
