Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.


Your future duties and responsibilities:
Required Skills
Strong expertise in COBOL, JCL, and SORT.
Hands-on experience with scheduling, version control, and debugging tools such as CA7 and Endevor.
Extensive experience in software development using mainframe technologies and tools.
Strong knowledge of database concepts and hands-on experience with DB2 and IMS DB.
Experience in the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
Ability to work independently as an individual contributor while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Roles and Responsibilities
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Design, develop, test, and implement mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, and related technologies.
Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues using debugging tools and techniques.
Utilize scheduling and version control tools such as CA7 and Endevor for job management and code migration activities.
Support production deployments and provide post-implementation support.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, QA teams, and other technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Participate in system enhancements, maintenance activities, and performance optimization initiatives.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Preferred Skills
Experience in the Banking domain.
Knowledge of EASYTRIEVE will be an added advantage.
Exposure to IMS DB environments and related utilities.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
